The 5 Best Video Games
There are hundreds upon hundreds of video games out on the
retail market today. Out of all those video games there has to be at least five
that are the best. Someone who knows a lot about video games should inform
players of what they are. That is where I step in. It is now my duty, my job to
tell the buyers what these five particular games are. My criteria for the five
games will be: graphics and how they look when they have played the game. Sound
and how it makes someone feel while they play the game. Control, how easy it is
to move and feel free to do what players want. Fun factor, exactly how much fun
the average player will experience. Finally, the storyline, not every game has a
storyline but the ones that do should make the gaming experience a little bit
more interesting.
Madden 2001 for Playstation 2 has some good points about it
and some bad points. The good points are that coaches are on the sidelines
yelling at you and they tell you what to do. The players have the most detail
any football game has ever seen. The bad points are that the crowd looks like
cardboard cutouts, the control isn’t always accurate and the sound isn’t always
accurate either. The game’s physics uses the player’s actual height and weight
to determine how hard the players hit or how much it takes to knock someone down
and/or their playing ability. The play-by-play commentary by John Madden gives
the game an even more real feel to it.
The FIFA 2001 graphics for Playstation 2 are outstanding! The
sound really needs some work though the game make up for how bad the sound is by
how fun the game is. That is if the buyer is a fan of the sport. Control is
touchy but the way they kick and pass and fight and everything else that they do
is awesome. Players can see them do bicycle kicks and side kicks. They look so
real and they are very well reproduced. With the commentary making this game
enjoyable, players will have endless fun. The sounds don’t always match up with
what is going on in the game but people will get the point of what they are
saying.
Counter-Strike is a first-person shooter for PC. In this game
counter terrorists try to stop the terrorists from bombing some thing like
ancient Aztec ruins or the ammo supply for U.S. marines. Sometimes the counter
terrorists have to rescue hostages that the terrorists have in their position.
The graphics are obviously amazing! Sound is great and the control is very easy.
All of the weapons you are able to buy are ALL REAL weapons that exist in the
world. If you shoot someone in the arms or legs it won’t do as much damage as if
you shot them in body. If you get a shot to the head, it’s a “Head shot” and the
player dies automatically just like they would in real life. Now because people
play this game online, with every person they see being another human, it makes
it more competitive because players will know it is not just some computer
controlled idiot robots. It is another person controlling the player. If buyers
are fans of the “Shoot-em-up” genre this is a definite must buy.
Metal Gear Solid 2 is another first-person shooter for the
Playstation 2 game console. If people loved playing the first one, people are
going to absolutely die playing this one. The graphics are almost real. Rain
splashes off of everything and it looks real, footsteps, lighting, wounds,
everything. It sounds great. Everything from the snapping of someone’s neck to a
bullet tearing thru human flesh sound real. Players can be hiding around a
corner and a guard might see your shadow and come over to investigate. If a
guard manages to see your character he will shoot at him from a distance or
knock him down up close and then take his radio out and call for backup. The
cool thing about this is that you see them physically take the radio out from
their back pocket and call. You even hear them. Sometimes the guards fall asleep
on their feet, which is an invitation for players to come up from behind and
break his neck. This is a game that should be on everyone’s wish list.
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec for Playstation 2 has to be my number
one choice. This game looks as real as T.V.. Of course people can tell the
difference, but not all the time. All of the cars are real cars and designs from
the actual maker, like the Chrysler PT Cruiser, which is included in the game.
It’s “The best car simulation” game so far. There are all types of cars from
many different countries such as America, Japan, and Germany. The replays are
the best looking thing in the whole game. The replays look like as if you were
watching a real race on television. This game offers people to drive the best
cars there are ranging from Toyota to Mercedes. This is the game to buy.
These five games listed above are my well-educated opinions
and everyone may not feel the same way that most people do, this is understood.
The five listed were chosen because based on facts; they are indeed the five
best video games, in my opinion. With the facts to back me up the games were
chosen, in the order they are in, to be “The 5 Best Video Games.”
