Similarities & Differences of Burger King and McDonalds

 

Burger King and McDonalds are very similar in many ways, but they also have differences, which I=m sure most people only recognize the differences.  In reality, they are very much alike.  As you read about their similarities and differences, you will be able to find out for yourself which one you would like better.

Some of their similarities are they both have french fries.  The two restaurants have kid=s meals, big kid=s meals, and value meals.  Toys are provided with each kid=s meal.  Both Burger King and McDonalds have Coke products.  You have the choice of making your value meals larger(super/king size)at both fast food restaurants.  Cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and double burgers are available at both.  Chicken sandwiches are also available at the two restaurants. 

There are also many differences between the two restaurants.  Most people see more of the differences than the similarities.  Burger King has the Whopper and triple cheeseburger.  McDonalds has the Big Mac and only a double cheeseburger.  At Burger King you can get mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers.  Although McDonalds doesn=t have mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers, you can get a shaker salad there, Burger Kings doesn=t provide you with salad.  McDonalds also has the McFlurry, which is an ice cream treat that resembles the blizzard at Dairy Queen. McDonalds also has a playground for the kids and Burger King does not.

In my opinion if you have kids that you want to take out to lunch, but can=t decide between McDonalds and Burger King, I think McDonalds is the way to go.  They have a playground outside where you can also sit and eat your lunch, while you watch your kids play.  There are some things I enjoy more about one than the other, but each of the restaurants has something I like.
