Every year, in New York state students must take and pass many tests. These difficult and challenging standardized test include Regions exams, RCT Ragouts, and English language arts exams. Many students fail because of preparations, panicing under pressure, and apathy. Panicking under pressure about the tests, and being inapp prepared are major reasons why students don’t do well on state tests. While taking the tests, many students feel extremely anxious.

One of the common problems students face when taking standerized tests is distress. Panicking under pressure can result from feeling overwhelmed, lack of confidence, and worrying about doing well. Students can feel overwhelmed by the extreme length of the test, or the limited time to finish the exams. When students worry about passing, they sometimes panic under all the pressure. A lack of confidence can be caused because; the student does not feel appropriately prepared for the test.

Several students have problems doing tests because, they have are not prepared. These students are disorganized, because they delay studying to do more enjoyable things. The students are also having problems on the test because; they do not pay attention to the martial that is being taught. Most students heave problems on state exams, because their studying resources are disorganized .There are also kids who don’t study, because they don’t care if they fail or pass.

Some students just don’t care if they pass the tests or not. These are your kids who never study, sleep in class, and most of their day in detention .If a student spends his school days in detention he does not care if he passes .When a student decides to go to sleep in class, they are telling the teacher that they don’t care about the material they are missing. Most students, who don’t study, end up doing badly on the state tests. When a student does not study for a test, they are saying it does not matter if they fail or pass.

Students, who are not prepared, refusing to study, and not being able to stay calm during tests, normally do not pass. Students who just don’t care, don‘t pass. These four things are the main reasons students that do not do well, or fail. Students, who do all these things well before the tests, pass the tests.
